The Traces collection is named after the idea of scars in the ceramics, insections that the pottery master makes with knives, before the stoneware is fired.

Sophie Dries plays on traditional arts and craft materials, always twisted with a contemporary design; contrast between black clay and shiny enamel, smooth surfaces and scarified textures in the ceramics.
